Diamond drilling (diamond core drilling) is the precise way to create round openings in hard materials such as reinforced concrete, concrete, brick, natural stone and granite. A diamond-segmented core bit, cooled by water, cuts a clean cylindrical hole with no impact, no vibration and virtually no dust — so the surrounding structure is never weakened.

Frequently asked questions
What hole sizes and depths can you drill?
We drill anything from small holes for cables and pipes up to cores of Ø600 mm and larger, to depths of several metres. We choose the exact diameter to suit the pipe or duct being fitted and the wall thickness.
Can you drill reinforced concrete, not just brick?
Yes. Diamond core bits cut straight through steel reinforcement, so we work in brick and block walls as well as in poured and reinforced concrete, natural stone and granite.
Is diamond drilling clean enough for an occupied flat?
We drill with water cooling, so concrete dust is kept down and finishes are not damaged. Noise is low, which lets us work in occupied flats, apartment blocks and offices, and we clean up after ourselves.
How soon can you come, and is the site visit free?
We usually reach sites in Riga and the surrounding area within 1–2 working days, or the same day for urgent jobs. The site visit and quote are free of charge.
How is the price for diamond drilling calculated?
The price depends on the number of holes, the diameter, the wall thickness and the material, so we give a firm quote after seeing the site. Indicative rates are on our prices page.
